By becoming a partner with LCCE, you can count on us to provide:
We recruit young adults who are currently studying at colleges and universities across the United States. We conduct personal interviews with applicants to assess three key elements: character, commitment, and skills.
Character
First and foremost, we look for individuals who demonstrate the ability to act as character role models, able to demonstrate and teach important values to children.
Commitment
Secondly, we look for individuals who are committed to our program and to their own personal development, including developing their leadership skills as well as gaining experience working with children and youth.
Skills
Lastly, we assess the skills and abilities applicants possess that would enhance a camp environment, as well as their willingness to be trained to further develop their skills.
All LCCE participants will complete 20 hours of training through our Leader Campus. During the Leader Campus, participants will engage in presentations and activities that promote leadership development. In addition, we will prepare them for their experience at camp, including important topics concerning youth development, programming, and supervision.

We know the life of a camp director is busy and includes a long list of “to do” items, so you’ll value our prompt and attentive service.
