Our Safari Partner

Our combination of service work and cultural immersion is an ideal way to combine purpose with pleasure while experiencing Kenya.

During this four-week experience, participants spend approximately half of the time providing volunteer service to various projects. Participants will provide educational services to children at an orphanage in Nairobi.

One of the most unique aspects of this program includes direct, personal contact with the Maasai people, one of the world's last remaining nomadic tribes, through service to their communities and homestays with Maasai families. While many programs may do a one-day visit with a Maasai community, our participants immerse themselves in Maasai culture for an entire week. This opportunity in the Maasai culture is extraordinary and rare.

Participants travel with a small group of other students and young adults from across the United States.

We also provide customized programs for individuals, groups or families interested in our Kenya programs.

Service Experiences
Our program is designed to give participants an opportunity to engage in meaningful service to others. As part of our community engagement, participants are divided into leadership teams, including Health Leaders, Education Leaders, and Recreation Leaders, to plan and facilitate portions of the service work. Connecting with the people of Kenya, particularly children, will enhance your experience, making this much more than a vacation!

St. Nicholas Children's Home
Our group will plan and facilitate educational and recreational activities at St. Nicholas Children’s Home in Nairobi, an orphanage for homeless, orphaned, street, abused, and abandoned children, particularly those whose families have been affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Maasai Project
With unique access to several Maasai communities, we will be working in partnership with the Maasai Project, a community outreach program that serves the Maasai by providing basic needs and services, including health care, education, and recreation.
